Pastor Ed is a Nashville native, so serving as pastor of Celebration Lutheran Church in Mt. Juliet feels like exactly where he's supposed to be. He's been part of the Celebration family for seven years, and before that, his ministry took him across Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee and four congregations that shaped him into the pastor he is today.
Ed holds a Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He's passionate about a church where everyone is truly welcome, genuinely loved, and growing and serving together in faith.
When he's not in the office or the pulpit, you'll likely find Ed on a trail somewhere with his two dogs or in a coffee shop. He's a proud fan of the Titans, Predators, Commodores, and St. Louis Cardinals, which means he's well-practiced in hope and perseverance. He and his wife Brenda have two children, both in college and both proof that time moves way too fast.
Cara is a high school teacher in the Nashville area and enjoys building welcoming, organized communities through communication and service. Outside of work, you can find her going to concerts, organizing events, spending time outdoors, tackling DIY projects around the house, and in the fall...watching every college football game!
